E-Commerce Payment Services

The E-Commerce Solution is a hardware and software solution that provides connectivity into the banking network. It comprises two components; Merchant Server and Payment Gateway.

The Merchant Server provides secure connectivity from the Merchants web server to the E-Commerce Payment Gateway. Once implemented onto a Merchants web server, the E-Commerce Merchant Server receives transaction details from a virtual shopping product, enciphers the transaction and sends it onto the Payment Gateway for processing.

 ECP FAQ .

The E-Commerce Payment Gateway validates, logs and forwards the transaction to the bank for processing. When the bank has processed the transaction, it is returned to the E-Commerce Payment Gateway, which logs the transaction.

An enciphered response containing the transaction details and authorization reference information is then sent to the E-Commerce Merchant Server. The Merchant Server deciphers the transaction and forwards the response to the virtual shopping product. The entire transaction process occurs in a matter of seconds.
